'Spread out' in the Bible

You [with] your hand drove out the nations, but them you planted. You harmed [the] peoples, but them you let spread out.

If we had forgotten the name of our God, or had spread out our hands [in prayer] to a foreign god,

In a day of my distress the Lord I sought, My hand by night hath been spread out, And it doth not cease, My soul hath refused to be comforted.

Its branches spread out to the Mediterranean Sea and its shoots to the Euphrates River.
